    Training Database

    Information on the Training Database available in RMS.

    The training database in RMS is designed to allow RMS users to train staff or test new configuration options in a copy of their live database without impacting daily operations.


    Changes made in the Training Database will not be reflected in the Live Database.


    The training database should be used in the following scenarios:

    • As a trial run before completing any sort of import of data.
    • To test run new configuration options and see if they suit the business requirements.
    • To train new staff or run training scenarios with existing staff.


    The following live database actions cannot be performed or triggered in the Training Database:

    • Payment Gateway Transactions
    • Triggered Correspondence
    • Scheduled Reports
    • Emailing Correspondence
    • Sending SMS
