    Setup Housekeeping Tasks

    Configuring Housekeeping Tasks to be used in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following:

    1. Go to Setup > Housekeeping > Tasks in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Description.
    4. Choose task options.
    5. Configure the Frequency.
    6. Configure Frequency Rules.
    7. Configure Category Times.
    8. Save/Exit.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Housekeeping > Tasks in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new task.

    Enter a description for the Housekeeping Task.

    Choose if this task requires a linen change.

    Choose if this task is considered as a Departure Clean.

    Select the frequency this task should apply to reservations.

    Frequencies including 'On Average Every' will space out the task as a best fit on the reservation's length of stay.


    Select the rules the task should follow when the frequency occurs against each option.

    Enter the time allocated for this task against each relevant Category.

    Choose 'Save/Exit' to create the task.
