Meter Previous Read Date
Setup the previous read date for a meter in RMS.
The Previous Read Date for a meter is used to display the period of charges when performing a Meter Read.

The Previous Read Date for a meter is used to display the period of charges when performing a Meter Read.
The Previous Read Date will display on the Meter Read, Reservation Account and Utility Statements.
Utility Meters enable users to record meter reads and charge for utilities on an Area.
Category, Area & Rate are default System Labels that can be customised.
The Previous Read Date cannot be set as a future date.
System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Setup > Meters > Utility Type in RMS.
- Navigate to the Reading Sequence section.
- Select an Area.
- Select 'Edit'.
- Select the Previous Read Date.
- Save/Exit.

Select an Area.
Select 'Edit'.
Select the Previous Read Date.
Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and return to the setup.
