Rate Table Bond
Use a Refundable Charge for bonds or refundable deposits on a Rate Table in RMS.
Rate Table Bond is an option to select a Refundable Charge that will automatically apply to the Reservation Account when the Rate Table is used for the Quoted Rate.

Information
Rate Table Bond is an option to select a Refundable Charge that will automatically apply to the Reservation Account when the Rate Table is used for the Quoted Rate.
The Rate Table determines the prices to be used when calculating the rates in RMS.
A Refundable Charge is a type of Sundry Charge that can be used to hold bonds or deposits that can be returned to the guest.
Refundable Charges record the date paid and hold the allocation of the Receipt until refunded or applied to the account.
A Refundable Charge can be setup on the Rate Type to apply to all reservations with that Rate Type selected.
Triggered Correspondence can be setup to automatically email the Account Bill To recipient when bond payment is recorded on the Reservation Account when the Trigger Type is 'X Periods Before or After an Action' and the Action selected is 'Bond Paid'.
Guest, Reservation, Rate and Sundry are default System Labels that can be customised.
System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

Setup
Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Charts > Rate Manager in RMS.
- Select the
'Rates' icon. - Select 'Rate Tables'.
- Select an existing Rate Table and choose 'Edit'.
- Navigate to the 'Bond' tab.
- Select a Refundable Charge.
- Save/Exit.
The Rate Table Bond will use the Unit Price setup on the Refundable Charge to apply the bond onto the Reservation Account.

The selected Refundable Charge will be created on the Reservation Account when this Rate Table is in use.
