Packages are a group of Sundry Charges that can be created on an account together.

Packages are a group of Sundry Charges that can be created on an account together.
Packages can consist of one or multiple Sundry Charges ensuring that revenue allocation occurs to the appropriate department through the assigned General Ledger Account Codes on the selected Sundry Charge.
Sundry Packages are standalone packages not associated to any Rate.
Package Components can be setup to appear on the To Do Chart or Housekeepers Report and have the option of a package creating on the account with itemised components by selecting 'Show on Account'.
The 'Post to Extras Account' is available when using the 'Show on Account' option for a package component to be created on the secondary reservation account and not the same account where the Rate is created.
A Sundry Charge is required to setup a Package.
Sundry is a default System Label that can be customised.
Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

Setup
Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Setup > Accounting > Packages in RMS.
- Select the 'Add' icon.
- Enter a Description.
- Select 'Save'.
- Optional: Select a Grouping.
- Select the 'Add' icon.
- Select a Sundry Charge.
- Select the Package Options.
- Optional: Select the checkbox 'Show on To Do Chart'.
- Optional: Select the checkbox 'Show on Housekeepers Report'.

Optional: Select the checkbox 'Show on Account'.
- Optional: Select the checkbox 'Post to Extras Account'.
- Select the Fee Structure.
- Enter the Quantity or Price Per Person.
- Enter the Unit Price or select the checkbox 'Use Amount from Sundry'.
- Save/Next.
- Repeat Steps 7-12 for all Package Components.
- Save/Exit.
Sundry Packages are included in the list of Sundry Charges that can be created on an account.
The Fee Structure 'Fees Per Period' will create a single charge for the Quantity and Unit Price entered using the Transaction Date of the Package.

Select the 'Add' icon.
Select a Sundry Charge.
