    Special Events

    Setup special event dates in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Special Events in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Description.
    4. Select a Colour.
    5. Select the Special Event Dates.
    6. Select a Property.
    7. Optional: Enter Special Event Notes.
    8. Save/Exit.

    Special Events can be used to highlight local events or special occasions that staff or guests may need to know about when creating a reservation.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Special Events in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Special Event.

    Enter a Description.

    Select a Colour to represent the Special Event on charts in RMS.

    Select the Special Event Dates.

    Select a Property.

    Optional: Enter Special Event Notes.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Special Events can be displayed on the Booking Chart, Rate Manager Chart, Availability Chart and Quick Quote.
