    Setup the integration for Assa Abloy VisiOnline in RMS.

    The Assa Abloy VisiOnline Door Lock module enables integration with Assa Abloy's VisiOnline key encoders.

    Information

    The Assa Abloy VisiOnline Door Lock module enables integration with Assa Abloy's VisiOnline key encoders.

    The Door Locks module for Assa Abloy VisiOnline enables encoding keys with VisiOnline directly from the Reservation in RMS to provide a Guest access to their Area.

    The Assa Abloy VisiOnline module requires the RMS MFI Processor which can be activated in the Module Market if not already in use at the Property.

    Activating the Door Lock module in RMS create a Service Request for RMS Customer Support to contact the Property and assist with module configuration.

    VisiOnline Key Encoders can be added in RMS after module activation to enable encoding keys directly from a Reservation.

    The VisiOnline username, password and endpoint provided by Assa Abloy are required to complete the module setup in RMS.

    Area Mapping can be completed by selecting the Area Source as 'Area Name' in the MFI Processor if the Area Description in RMS matches the Area Name in VisiOnline.

    If the Area Description and Area Name do not match Area Mapping can be completed by using the Area 'Spare Field 1' in System Labels set as 'Door Number' and entering the VisiOnline Door Number on each Area in RMS.

    Key Encoder Descriptions entered in RMS must match the Key Encoder Description in VisiOnline.

    The MFI Processor must be installed on the same local computer as VisiOnline.

    The RMS Webservices Password is required to complete MFI Processor configuration and will be provided by RMS Customer Support as part of the Assa Abloy VisiOnline module setup Service Request.

    Keys can be encoded on the Reservation using the  'Key' icon and the Key Serial Number will be recorded on the Reservation Audit Trail.


    Category, Area, Arrive, Depart, Reservation and Guest are default System Labels that can be customised.

    System Administrators will require Security Profile access to setup this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to the Module Market in the Side Menu of RMS.
    2. Select the Module Type as 'Access Control'.
    3. Select the 'Activate' Toggle on the Door Locks module with the Partner as 'Assa Abloy VisiOnline'.
    4. Read the Terms & Conditions.
    5. Select 'Activate Door Locks'.
    6. Navigate to the 'Activated' tab.
    7. Select the 'Lock' icon on the Door Locks module.
    8. Select the 'Configuration' icon for a Property.
    9. Enter the Daily Password provided by RMS Customer Support and select the 'Apply/Exit' icon.
    10. Install and configure the MFI Processor.
      1. Navigate to the 'Door Locks' tab.
      2. Select the Door Lock as 'Assa Abloy'.
      3. Enter the VisiOnline Username, Password and Endpoint.
      4. Select the Area Source.
      5. Select the Key Expiry Option.
      6. Select the Default Expiry Time.
      7. Select the Card Type.
      8. Select the Interconnecting Options.
      9. Save and Exit.
    11. Setup Key Encoders.

    Select 'Save' to store the changes made and 'Exit' to minimise the MFI Processor to the system tray.
