The MFI is an RMS application used to faciliate communication between third party programs and the RMS database.
The Multi Function Interface (MFI) must be installed and running when using an applciable Third Party interface with RMS.
Enterprise customers will be required to setup the MFI per property using the applicable Third Party with RMS.

Setup
Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Log a Service Request requesting 'MFI Installation'.
- Downloadthe MFI application provided by RMS Support.
- Right Click the MFI Setup File and choose 'Install'.
- Select 'Next' on the Windows Installation Wizard.
- Select 'Yes' to Windows prompt 'Allow application to make changes to your PC'.
- Close the Installation Wizard when complete.
- Select 'Yes' on the MFI Configuration prompt.
- Enter the Property's RMS Client ID.
- Enter the RMS Webservices Password provided by RMS Support.
- Select 'Connect'.
- Complete the MFI Setup for the Third Party Interface being used.
- Save.
The Property RMS Client ID is the Client ID assigned to the individual property and will differ from the Enterprise Client ID used to access the RMS Database for Enterprise customers. The Property RMS Client ID can be obtained by viewing the Property Information setup in RMS.
The Webservices Password can be obtained by contacting RMS Support.
MFI Configuration at Step 11 will vary based on the Interface Partner and Third Party Interface being used. This information will be provided by the Third Party's documentation and assistance from RMS Support if unknown.
