    Add Ons

    Setup an Add On Category for managing inventory of extra bookable items in RMS.

    Add Ons are a Category Class available to manage extra bookable items that can be included on an existing reservation.

    Information

    Add Ons are a Category Class available to manage extra bookable items that can be included on an existing reservation.

    Add Ons can be used to manage set availability of additional items including Car Parks, Roll Away Beds, Cots, Boats, Jet Skis or Bicycles.

    Add Ons can only be added to a reservation in an Accommodation Category.

    Add Ons can be viewed with reservations on the Booking Chart or Add On availability can be viewed on the Add Ons Chart.



    Category, Area, Add On, Reservation, Guest, and Sundry are default System Labels that can be customised.



    System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.
    2. Select a Property.
    3. Select the 'Add' icon.
    4. Enter the Add On Description.
    5. Optional: Enter a Guest Description.
    6. Optional: Enter a Long Description.
    7. Select a General Ledger Account Code.
    8. Select the Class as 'Add On'.
    9. Select the Booked By option.
    10. Optional: Select an Icon.
    11. Optional: Select a Colour.
    12. Save.
    13. Select the Category Access and choose 'Apply'.
    14. Navigate to the 'Area' tab.
    15. Select 'Quick Add'.
    16. Enter the Add On Names.
    17. Save/Exit.
    18. Log out of RMS.
    19. Setup an Add On Charge.



    The Category Colour will be used on the Booking Chart 'Collapsible Category' View By option.

    Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.

    Select a Property.

    Select the  'Add' icon.

    Enter the Add On Description.

    Optional: Enter a Guest Description.

    Optional: Enter a Long Description.

    Select a General Ledger Account Code.

    Select the Class as 'Add On'.

    Select the Booked By option.

    Optional: Select an Icon.

    Optional: Select a Colour.

    Select 'Save' to store the changes made.

    Select the Category Access and choose 'Apply'.

    Navigate to the 'Area' tab.

    Select 'Quick Add'.

    Enter the Add On Names.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the setup.

    Log out of RMS to allow the database to update with the changes made.

    Setup an Add On Charge .

    Add Ons can now be added to Accommodation Reservations.


    Setup

    18. Log out of RMS.
    19. Setup an Add On Charge.
