Discounts can be used in RMS on any charge including Rates, can be setup with a series of validation options and an be made available to the RMS IBE or as a Members Only discount.

Percentage

A percentage discount can be setup to reduce a charge or rate by the specified percentage up to the cap amount.

Percentage discounts have the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range as well as discount specific options for whether or not the Total Rate is used for the cap amount or whether to include Packages and/or Additionals in any discount calculations.

Amount

Flat amount discounts can be setup to deduct a specified amount from the charge or a rate.

Amount discounts have the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range.

BOGO

Buy One Get One (BOGO) discounts enable properties to setup discounts specifically applicable to rates for particular lengths of stay.

BOGO discounts can be used to create Stay & Pay promotions, can be limited to a set number of cycles as well as the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range.

Total Override

Creating a Total Override discount enables setting up promotions where a set number of nights in the stay are capped at the entered amount.

Depending on the value entered for the number of nights and total charge, RMS will apply the discount per night to level out the total rate across the full length of stay to honour the values entered.

Override discounts also include the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range.

Children & Infants Stay Free

Children & Infants Stay Free discounts when applied to a rate where additional fees are charged for any children or infant, RMS will apply an equal value discount to the rate when posted.

Children & Infants Stay Free discounts have the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range.

Nightly Rate Override

Creating a Nightly Rate Override discount enables setting up promotions where a set number of nights in the stay are capped at the specified amount, regardless of the rate amount setup.

RMS will apply a discount to each nights rate reducing it to the value entered in the discount setup for the number of nights specified.

Nightly Rate Override discounts also include the standard range of validation options available including minimum and maximum length of stay, reservations staying between a specified date range and/or reservations made in a certain date range.
