    Repeat an Existing Reservation

    Create a repeating sequence on an existing reservation in RMS.

    Repeat Reservations are a set of linked recurring reservations created at a predetermined frequency.

    Repeat Reservations are a set of linked recurring reservations created at a predetermined frequency.

    Repeat Reservations will each have a unique Reservation Number and can be viewed or managed on the  'Repeat Reservation' tab of any reservation within the sequence of repeats.

    Reservations can be set to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, on a particular day of the week or date of a month.

    The repeating sequence can be setup to repeat a set number of times or until a set end date and includes options for what to do if the reservation would ordinarily fall on a Saturday, Sunday or Houskeeping Holiday Dates.

    The Repeat Reservation utility enables creating a set of recurring reservations without an existing reservation.



    Category, Area, Reservation, Guest, and Rate are default System Labels that can be customised.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Use

    1. Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Guest Name or Reservation Number and press 'Enter'.
    3. Navigate to the 'Repeat' tab.
    4. Select the 'Repeat' icon.
    5. Select the Repeat Frequency.
    6. Select the Arrive & Depart Time.
    7. Select the Repeat Start Date.
    8. Select the Repeat End Date or Select & Enter the End Repeat After option.
    9. Optional: Select to Include or Exclude Saturday.
    10. Optional: Select to Include or Exclude Sunday.
    11. Optional: Select to Include or Exclude Housekeeping Holiday Dates.
    12. Optional: Select a Category.
    13. Optional: Select the checkbox for the Area.
    14. Select the 'Add to Repeat Run' icon.
    15. Select the 'Save' icon.
    16. Exit.



    The Repeat Reservations will be created using the Guest Profile, Rate and Reservation Details on the original reservation. The Category and Area will default to the same as the original reservation and can be changed when creating the Repeat Reservations at Step 12 & 13. 

    Changes made to a reservation after the initial save of Repeat Reservations will only apply the changes to the individual reservation.

    Repeat Reservations will each have a unique Reservation Number and can be viewed or managed on the  'Repeat' tab of any reservation within the sequence of repeats.

    Skip Step 9,10 or 11 to ignore that day or date in the Repeat Sequence.
