    Property Name

    Change the Property Name displayed in RMS.

    The Property Name is used in all areas of RMS including the RMS Internet Booking Engine to identify a particular place of business.

    Information

    The Property Name is used in all areas of RMS including the RMS Internet Booking Engine to identify a particular place of business.

    Each Property is assigned a unique RMS Client ID that is combined with the Property Name on RMS records for billing, support and security purposes.



    The Property Name cannot include the following special characters: , : # !



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in RMS.
    2. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Property.
    3. Navigate to the 'Property Information' tab.
    4. Enter the new Property Name.
    5. Update the Property Contact Details.
    6. Save/Exit.
    7. Log out of RMS.

    Changing the Property Name in RMS will update our records for billing, support and security purposes as well as change how the Property Name is displayed in RMS, on the RMS Internet Booking Engine and in the available Portals.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the Property setup.

    Log out of RMS to allow the database to update with the changes made.

    The new Property Name will be updated on RMS records for billing, support and security purposes in addition to changing the display of the Property Name in RMS, on the RMS Internet Booking Engine and any Portals being used.
