    Setup common areas available to Areas for key cutting in RMS.

    Area Mapping can be used to setup default access to Common Areas when cutting keys in RMS.

    Area Mapping can be used to setup default access to Common Areas when cutting keys in RMS.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.



    The Door Locks module must be enabled in the Module Market to use this feature.

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Door Locks > Area Mapping in RMS.
    2. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Area.
    3. Select the Common Areas and choose the  button.
    4. Save and Exit.

    Go to Setup > Door Locks > Area Mapping in RMS.

    Select the  'Edit' icon on an existing Area.

    Select the Common Areas and choose the  button.

    Select 'Save' to store the changes made and 'Exit' to leave the setup.

    Cutting keys for a reservation will include the Common Areas mapped to the Area on the reservation.
