Booking Window

Set a spotlight on selected dates for the Rate Grid on the RMS Internet Booking Engine.

Decision Tree

Booking Window is a Window of Time (Booking Period) that a Rate will be available for sale.
The Booking Window is for the Reservation Made Dates, Not the Reservation Stay Dates.

Booking Window is a Window of Time (Booking Period) that a Rate will be available for sale.
The Booking Window is for the Reservation Made Dates, Not the Reservation Stay Dates.

Meaning that if a Booking Window is set for the 1st - 30th November, Reservations can only be Made between the 1st - 30th November. The Booking Stay dates can be for any dates, but the reservation can only be Made during this date range.

Category, Reservation and Rate are default System Labels that can be customised.

Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

Use
Add Button

Use

Go to Charts > Rate Manager in RMS.
Select the 'Control Panel' icon.
Select the 'Add' icon.
Select the Restriction Type 'Boooking Window'.
Select a Property.
Select a Date Range.
Select a Channel.
Select "Category" to move to the Category Selection.
Select the relevant Categories.
Select "Rate Type" to move to the Rate Type Selection.
Select the relevant Rate Types
Save/Exit.

Select the 'Add' icon to add Multiple Date Ranges at Step 6.

Select the icon to set a Restriction Type as a favourite.

Optional - Select + to add Multiple Date Ranges.
Select Channel
Select Category to move to the Category Selection

Select Rate Type
Save & Exit

Select the relevant Rate Types
