    Disconnect Channel

    Disconnect from a connected channel in RMS.

    Disconnecting a channel removes the link between RMS and the third party.

    Information

    Disconnecting a channel removes the link between RMS and the third party.

    Removing the link between RMS and the third party revokes access and stops any information being passed between RMS and that third party.

    Disconnecting a channel that is receiving rates and availability information from RMS will prevent any further updates.

    Not manually updating rates and availability with the third party after disconnecting the channel in RMS may result in overbookings as RMS will be unable to send any availability updates to the third party.



    System Administrators will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management in RMS.
    2. Select the Connected Channel and choose 'Edit'.
    3. Navigate to the 'Connection Information' or 'Options' tab.
    4. Select 'Disconnect from Agent'.
    5. Select 'Yes' to confirm.
    6. Manually Update Rates & Availability on the Third-Party Website.



    Disconnecting a channel that is receiving rates and availability information from RMS will prevent any further updates.
