    Windcave Receipt

    Process a payment using Windcave in RMS.

    Payments processed in RMS via Windcave open a secure payment processing window in your browser.

    Windcave is a Payment Gateway available in RMS to provide PCI Compliant credit card storage and payment processing.




    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Use

    1. Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Guest Name or Reservation Number and press 'Enter'.
    3. Select the 'Receipt' icon.
    4. Select the Payment Type as 'Credit Card'.
    5. Select the Transaction Fee option.
      1. Select the Card Type.
    6. Enter the Receipt Amount.
    7. Select the Print Action.
    8. Select 'Process'.
    9. Enter the Card Details.
    10. Select 'Submit'.



    A Card Type must be selected if charging a Transaction Fee.



    Use the RMS Account Number as the Merchant Reference in Windcave to locate the payment.

    Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.

    Enter the Guest Name or Reservation Number and press 'Enter'.

    Select the  'Receipt' icon.

    Select the Payment Type as 'Credit Card'.

    Select the Transaction Fee option.

    Select the Card Type.

    Enter the Receipt Amount.

    Select the Print Action.

    Select 'Process'.

    Enter the Card Details.

    Select 'Submit'.

    The Receipt will be created on the account in RMS and the transaction processed securely through the property's Windcave account.

    Use

    5. Select the Transaction Fee option.

    9. Enter the Card Details.
    10. Select 'Submit'.
