Restrict Users from Exceeding the House Allotment
Setup Security Profiles to restrict which users can oversell House Inventory in RMS.
Steps Required
Have your System Administrator complete the following.
- Go to Setup > Users > Security Profiles in RMS.
- Select a Security Profile and choose 'Edit'.
- Expand the 'Reservation Screens' Function Menu.
- Set 'Allow Exceed of House Allotment' to 'No'.
- Save/Exit.

Expand the 'Reservation Screens' Function Menu.
Set 'Allow Exceed of House Allotment' to 'No'.
Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
On next login, users with this Security Profile will not be able to save new reservations when doing so would oversell the House Inventory or House Allotment.
