    Night Audit Interfaces

    Setup interfaces to run with the Night Audit utility in RMS.

    Exports generated for compatible connected interfaces in RMS can be setup to trigger during the Open New Day process in the Night Audit utility.

    Information

    Properties must be setup to use Manual End of Day Processing and a compatible interface to use this feature.

    The export will run in the background and only download a local file for connected interfaces that require manual import when 'Open New Day' has been completed.


    Users will require Security Profile access to the Night Audit utility to use this feature.

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in RMS.
    2. Select  'Edit' on an existing Property.
    3. Navigate to the 'Night Audit Interface' tab.
    4. Select from the Available Interfaces and choose the '>' button.
    5. Save/Exit.

    Go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information in RMS.

    Select  'Edit' on an existing Property.

    Navigate to the 'Night Audit Interface' tab.

    Select from the Available Interfaces and choose the '>' button.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    The Night Audit utility will now include exports for the active interfaces when selecting 'Open New Day'.

    2. Select a Property and choose 'Confirm'.
    3. Review & Update any remaining Departure Reservations.
    4. Select 'Continue'.
    5. Review & Update any remaining Arrival Reservations.

    7. Review & Update any In House Reservations without a Rate Type.
    8. Select 'Continue'.
    9. Select 'Update Nightly Rates'.
    10. Select 'Continue'.
    11. Select 'New Day'.
    12. Optional: Select 'Yes' to open Reports.

    The Debtors Ledger & Night Audit Reports will open in a new browser window.
