    Enable Phone Number Validation

    Setting up phone number validation in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.
    2. Navigate to the 'Guest Options' tab.
    3. Select the checkbox 'Enable Phone Number Validation'.
    4. Save/Exit.
    5. Log out of RMS.

    Validation Rules

    The phone field will display in red if the following conditions are not met.

    • At least 6 numeric digits are entered (excluding spaces).
    • No alphabetical or special characters are present (excluding prefix of '+' for country codes).

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.

    Navigate to the 'Guest Options' tab.

    Select the checkbox 'Enable Phone Number Validation'.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Log out of RMS to allow the database to update with the changes made.
