    Company Rates

    Setup and assign Company Rates in RMS.

    Company Rates limit the access of Rate Types to a particular Company.

    Information

    Company Rates limit the access of Rate Types to a particular Company.

    A Company is a business that can be added and used in RMS for Reservations, Accounts Receivable and the Corporate Portal.

    Company Rates can be used to limit the Rate Types available to a Company based on any contracts or negotiations.

    Negotiated or Contracted Rates can be setup as a Derived Rate Type to simplify setup and maintenance.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.
    2. Navigate to the 'Reservation Options' tab.
    3. Select the checkbox 'Use Rate Types for Companies'.
    4. Save/Exit.
    5. Go to Setup > Company in RMS.
    6. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Company.
    7. Navigate to the 'Rate Assignment' tab.
    8. Select the 'Add' icon.
    9. Select a Property.
    10. Select the Rate Types and choose the   icon.
    11. Optional: Setup Validation Dates.
      1. Select 'Add'.
      2. Select the Date Range.
      3. Save/Exit.
    12. Optional: Select the checkbox 'Hide Rate on Correspondence.
    13. Save/Exit.
    14. Save/Exit.

    Selecting the option to hide the Rate on Correspondence will remove the Rate Amount when merging correspondence to send to this Company.

    Go to Setup > Company in RMS.

    Select the  'Edit' icon on an existing Company.

    Select a Property.

    Select the Rate Types and choose the   icon.

    Optional: Setup Validation Dates.

    Select 'Add'.

    Select the Date Range.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and return to the Rate Assignment screen.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and return to the Company setup.

    Optional: Select the checkbox 'Hide Rate on Correspondence.

    Select  'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the setup.

    14. Save/Exit.
