    Boat Draft

    Setup the specifications for vessel depths within the 'Dock' category in RMS.

    Setup

    The Boat Draft Lookup Table in RMS allows for the definition of water vessel depths that an area in a 'Dock' category can accommodate.

    Allocating a Boat Draft, Boat Length, Boat Type, and Boat Width to an area in a 'Dock' category facilitates the filtration of areas based on selected water vessel specifications when creating a reservation or using the RMS Internet Booking Engine

    Delete

    Draft refers to the shallowest depth a vessel can navigate in or the minimum depth required for a vessel to float.




    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Boat Draft in the side menu of RMS.
    2. Select the 'Add' icon.
    3. Enter the Boat Draft.
    4. Save/Exit.


    Delete

    The Boat Draft Lookup Table is a free-type field, offering flexibility to accommodate either depth ranges or set depths, depending on the specifications of the marina or dock.

    Access

    System Administrators will require Security Profile access to 'Lookup Tables' and 'Boat Draft' to complete this setup.


    Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Boat Draft in the side menu of RMS.

    Select the  'Add' icon.

    Enter the Boat Draft.

    Select the  'Save/Exit' icon to store the changes made and leave the setup.

    This Boat Draft will be available for allocation on the 'Boat Options' tab of an area in a 'Dock' category.
