    Hoseasons (OneConnect)

    Connection information for Hoseasons (OneConnect).

    Preparing to Connect

    Prior to completing the connection to Hoseasons (OneConnect) Rates must be setup for each available length of stay.

    Each Rate Type used for Hoseasons pricing must have the minimum and maximum length of stay set to the same value with the available arrival days of the week selected.

    Channel Connection Information for Hoseasons (One Connect) uses the Hoseasons Provider ID as the Login and the Hoseasons Operator ID as the Hotel Code.

    A placeholder password set as 'x' can be entered as the 'Password' in the Channel Connection Information.

    Hoseasons (OneConnect) uses Method #2 for the Category & Rate Type mapping in the Channel Connection

    Each Category & Rate Type combination must be unique and will be used to identify the plan in RMS.

    Delete

    Use the Rate Type Code & Category Code or Rate Type Description & Category Description when adding the mapping in the Channel Connection to simplify setup.



    Availability

    Hoseasons uses Category Availability for the length of stay set on the Rate Type.

    Only Areas within the Category that are available for the full length of stay set on the Rate Type will be included as available to Hoseasons.

    Maximising Occupancy on the Booking Chart by moving Reservations to close gaps and create more continuous availability will improve booking opportunities across all channel connections using Category Availability.

    In the above example there are 3 nights available for this Category on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th of January.

    If the length of stay set on the Rate Type is set to '3' the availability sent to Hoseasons for this Category arriving on 2nd January would be set to '0'.

    To make availability be sent to Hoseasons for arrival 2nd January, Reservation #3 can be moved to Area 101.

    Regularly moving Reservations on the Booking Chart to close gaps maximises occupancy opportunities.

    Each Rate Type used for Hoseasons pricing must have the minimum and maximum length of stay set to the same value with the available arrival days of the week selected.


    Reservations

    Reservation delivery from Hoseasons (OneConnect) occurs in stages. 

    The initial hold of availability for a Hoseasons Reservation will have placeholder or temporary information until the full reservation delivery exchange occurs between RMS and Hoseasons.

    Hoseasons can include Requirements with a Reservation if the Requirement Description in RMS matches the Service Description in Hoseasons.
