    Guest Portal Self Check-in

    Setup the Guest Portal to allow guests to check-in their reservation in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Portal Access > Guest Portal in RMS.
    2. Navigate to the 'Check-In' tab.
    3. Navigate to the 'Allow Check-in' tab.
    4. Select the toggle 'Allow Guest to Check-in'.
    5. Optional: Select the toggle 'Allow Guest to check-in prior to the Arrive Time'.
    6. Select a Category to allow Self Check-in and choose '>'.
    7. Save/Exit.

    Info

    Self Check-in can be used to enable guests to check-in remotely without attending a front desk.

    Check-in prior to Arrive Time will only be available if the Area on the reservation is in 'Vacant Clean' status.

    Categories not selected to 'Allow Check-in' will still be able to complete Pre Check-in if configured.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Portal Access > Guest Portal in RMS.

    Navigate to the 'Check-In' tab.

    Navigate to the 'Allow Check-in' tab.

    Select the toggle 'Allow Guest to Check-in'.

    Optional: Select the toggle 'Allow Guest to check-in prior to the Arrive Time'.

    Select a Category to allow Self Check-in and choose '>'.

    Select 'Save' to store the changes made.

    Guests with a reservation in a Category selected for 'Allow Check-in' will have the option to complete Self Check-in via the Guest Portal on their Arrival Date.
