    Setup Groupings for Taxes in RMS.

    Tax Groupings provide a simple way to bundle similar taxes together on regional specific reports.

    Tax Groupings provide a simple way to bundle similar taxes together on regional specific reports.

    Groupings provide the ability to bundle similar items together for reporting purposes.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Grouping in RMS.
    2. Select the 'Add' icon.
    3. Select the Grouping Type 'Tax'.
    4. Enter the Grouping.
    5. Save/Exit.
    6. Go to Setup > Accounting > Taxes in RMS.
    7. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Tax.
    8. Navigate to the 'Details' tab.
    9. Select the Tax Grouping.
    10. Save/Exit.

    Go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Grouping in RMS.

    Select the  'Add' icon.

    Select the Grouping Type 'Tax'.

    Enter the Grouping.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the setup.

    Go to Setup > Accounting > Taxes in RMS.

    Select the  'Edit' icon on an existing Tax.

    Navigate to the 'Details' tab.

    Select the Tax Grouping.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made and leave the setup.

    This Tax Grouping will now be available for selection on region specific reports.

    7. Select the 'Edit' icon on an existing Tax.
    8. Navigate to the 'Details' tab.
    9. Select the Tax Grouping.
    10. Save/Exit.
