    Reservation Confirmation

    Setup a Reservation Confirmation letter with Pre Check-in information in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Correspondence > Form Letters in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Description.
    4. Enter an Email Subject Line.
    5. Select the Form Letter Format.
    6. Enter the Letter Content.
    7. Insert Merge Fields.
    8. Save/Exit.
    9. Select the Form Letter Access and choose 'Ok'.

    Use a Reservation Confirmation letter to verify the reservation details with the guest as well as provide any important information or details on Pre Check-in processes ahead of their arrival.


    Include the merge field «rGuest_Portal_Short_URL» for single properties or «rGuest_Portal_Enterprise_Short_URL» for enterprise properties from the Reservation Merge Table to give guests a direct link to manage their reservation and complete Pre Check-in online using the RMS Guest Portal.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Correspondence > Form Letters in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Form Letter.

    Enter a Description.

    Enter an Email Subject Line that will be used when emailing this Form Letter from RMS.

    Select the Form Letter Format.

    Enter the Letter Content.

    Insert Merge Fields to have contextual information inserted into the letter automatically.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

    Select the Form Letter Access and choose 'Ok'.
