      Decommission Interconnecting Areas

      Set Interconnecting Master Areas inactive in RMS.


      Steps Required

      Have your System Administrator complete the following.

      1. Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.
      2. Select the Interconnecting Category and choose 'Edit'.
      3. Select the checkbox 'Inactive'.
      4. Save/Exit.

      Setting the Interconnecting Master Category inactive will remove the Interconnecting Master Areas from being available to book without affecting the physical Areas used to connect into the Master Area.

      Warning

      There must be no current or future reservations in the Interconnecting Category and Interconnecting Master Areas to allow it to be set to inactive.

      Visual Guide

      Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.

      Select the Interconnecting Category and choose 'Edit'.

      Select the checkbox 'Inactive'.

      Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.

      The Interconnecting Master Areas within this Category will no longer be available to book in RMS.
