    Perform an Advanced Search in Report Writer

    Steps to perform a multi-layer search using Report Writer in RMS.


    Steps Required

    1. Go to Utilities > Report Writer in RMS.
    2. Enter a name for the Search Template
    3. Select Options and Property Option.
    4. Select Target Category.
    5. Select Target Field.
    6. Select Search Criteria for Target Field.
    7. Apply Statement.
    8. Select Range Boundary.
    9. Repeat Steps 4-8 as required.
    10. Save Template.
    11. Show Matches.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Utilities > Report Writer in RMS.

    Enter a Template Name.

    Choose the required Options and Property Option.

    Choose a category for a list of fields to search on.

    Select a field from that category to be used for the search criteria.

    Select or enter the search criteria for the chosen field. 

    Select 'Add Statement' to include in the search.

    Select a Range Boundary for the follow up statement.

    Select a field from that category to be used for the search criteria. 

    Select a field from that category to be used for the search criteria. 

    Select or enter the search criteria for the chosen field.

    Select 'Add Statement' to include in the search.

    Repeat this process as many times as necessary to complete the search statement required.

    Select 'Save' to store this template for future use.

    Select 'Show Matches' to view a list of returned search results.

    Once matches are returned, options include Send an eDM Campaign or Export Data.
