    Use the Guest Merge Utility

    Performing a bulk Guest Merge using the Utility in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Log into Training.
    2. Go to Utilities > Guest Merge in RMS Training System.
    3. Select a Pattern Match.
    4. Read the Warning.
    5. Select 'Begin Merge'.
    6. Verify Merge Successful.
    7. Check Merged Guest Profile Samples.
      1. Only proceed if Guest Profile Samples merged are as required.
    8. Log out of Training.
    9. Log into RMS.
    10. Go to Utilities > Guest Merge in RMS.
    11. Select the same Pattern Match.
    12. Select 'Begin Merge'.
    13. Read Warning.
    14. Confirm Proceeding.

    Warning

    There is no method of reversing the effects of merged profiles. Profiles cannot be "un-merged".

    Proceed with caution.

    Log into Training.

    Go to Utilities > Guest Merge in RMS Training System.

    Select a Pattern Match.

    Read the Warning.

    Select 'Begin Merge'.

    Verify Merge Successful and check Merged Guest Profiles.

    Log out of Training.

    Log into RMS.

    Go to Utilities > Guest Merge in RMS.

    Select the same Pattern Match.

    Select 'Begin Merge'.

    Read the warning and confirm if choosing to proceed with the merge.
