    Automate Sending SMS

    Setup Triggered Correspondence using SMS in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Correspondence > Triggered Correspondence in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Description for the Triggered rule.
    4. Select 'SMS' as the Format.
    5. Select an SMS Template.
    6. Select any Additional Rules required.
    7. Choose a Trigger Action.
    8. Select Recipients.
    9. Save/Exit.


    To ensure International SMS reach their intended recipients, select the 'Country of Residence' on the Guest Profile.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Correspondence > Triggered Correspondence in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Triggered Correspondence Rule.

    Enter a Description for the triggered rule.

    Select 'SMS' as the format.

    Select an SMS template.

    Select any additional rules required.

    Choose the Action or Time that will trigger the SMS to send.


    Time Of: SMS will be triggered by performing the specified function in RMS and is not time dependent.
    Period: SMS will be triggered at the specified time before or after the selected action.

    Select the recipients to receive this triggered SMS.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
