    Copy a Reservation

    Create a duplicate of an existing reservation in RMS.

    Copy Reservation enables duplicating an existing reservation with all the guest and reservation details to new stay dates.

    Copy Reservation enables duplicating an existing reservation with all the guest and reservation details to new stay dates.

    Copied Reservations will be assigned a unique Reservation Number and Account Number unless using the option to share the Account between copies.

    To use the same Account Number between copied reservations the option must first be enabled in setup.

    Group Reservations have the option of being copied with all existing accounts or only the selected Group Master account.



    Category and Area are default System Labels that can be customised.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    1. Go to the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
    2. Enter the Guest Name or Reservation Number and press 'Enter'.
    3. Select the 'Copy Reservation' icon.
    4. Select the Arrive & Depart Date.
    5. Optional: Select a Category.
    6. Select an Area.
    7. Optional: Select a Company.
    8. Optional: Select a Travel Agent or Wholesaler.
    9. Optional: Select the checkbox 'Exclude all departed reservations'.
    10. Optional: Select the checkbox 'Use Existing Accounts'.
    11. Select the 'Copy' icon.



    Selecting 'Use Existing Accounts' is an option available through setup that when used will cause all copies of the reservation to use the same Reservation Accounts.

    Category and Area are default System Labels that can be customised.

    Reservation copies include Guest & Reservation Details as well as any Rate Overrides on the Total Rate Breakdown.

    The reservation cannot be copied if the Dates, Category & Area selected are not available.

    Optional: Select a Category.

    Select an Area.

    Optional: Select a Travel Agent or Wholesaler.

    Optional: Select the checkbox 'Exclude all departed reservations'.

    Optional: Select the checkbox 'Use Existing Accounts'.

    Select the  'Copy' icon.

    The copied reservation will be listed with it's unique Reservation Number.
