Reservation Rate Type

Change the selected Rate Type on an existing reservation in RMS.

Steps Required

Go to the Side Menu Reservation Search in RMS.
Enter the Reservation Number and select 'Search'.
Select the existing Rate Type and press 'Backspace'.
Select the new Rate Type.
Save/Exit.

Info

When the newly selected Rate Type includes Deposit setup and no deposit has been paid on the reservation, the Reservation Status will change to 'Unconfirmed'.

Users who have the Security Profile option to 'Hide Confirmation Messages' enabled will have the Rate Recalculation default to 'Yes'.

No Rate Recalculation message will be shown for any user when the Rate Amount has been manually overridden.

Visual Guide

Go to the Side Menu Reservation Search in RMS.

Enter the Reservation Number and select 'Search'.

Select the existing Rate Type and press 'Backspace'.

Select the new Rate Type.

Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
