    Hold Tab

    Setup to display the Hold tab on reservations in RMS.

    The Hold tab on the Reservation Screen enables properties to view and manage Holds placed on a reservation.

    The Hold tab on the Reservation Screen enables properties to view and manage Holds placed on a reservation.

    Holds are used for FIFO (Fly in, Fly out) or other operations where an Area remains assigned to a person or persons and they go off site for lengths of time.



    Category and Area are default System Labels that can be customised.



    Users will require Security Profile access to use this feature.

    Setup

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Property Options > General Information in RMS.
    2. Navigate to the 'Reservation Defaults' tab.
    3. Select the checkbox 'Show Hold Tab'.
    4. Optional: Select the checkbox 'Don't Update Housekeeping Schedules'.
    5. Save/Exit.
    6. Log out of RMS.



    Selecting the option 'Don't Update Housekeeing Schedules' will maintain any scheduled Housekeeping Tasks during a Hold period.

    Log out of RMS to allow the database to update with the changes made.

    The Hold tab will now be available on the Reservation Screen.
