A Hold Over Departure Clean is a Housekeeping Task setup as a 'Departure Clean' that has not been marked as completed the same day as the reservation checked-out.

This evolution of the 'Departure Clean' task identifies areas that have been in 'Vacant Dirty' status the longest and will appear on the Housekeeping Roster and the Housekeepers Report until the task is marked completed or the Area Status is updated to 'Occupied' or 'Vacant Clean'.

Reservation details, linen, and any housekeeping notes will remain on the 'Departure Clean' task with the description updated to 'Hold Over Departure Clean' once the date rolls forward from the last reservation departure in that area.
