    Create a Package

    Setting up Sundry Packages in RMS.

    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Accounting > Packages in RMS.
    2. Select 'Add'.
    3. Enter a Package Description.
    4. Save.
    5. Select 'Add'.
    6. Choose a Package Component.
    7. Select Sundry Options.
    8. Select and Enter the Amount to Charge.
    9. Save/Next.
    10. Repeat Steps 6-9 until all Package Components saved.
    11. Save/Exit.
    12. Save/Exit.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Accounting > Packages in RMS.

    Select 'Add' to create a new Package.

    Enter a Package Description.

    Select 'Save' to create the Package.

    Select 'Add'.

    Choose a Package Component.

    Select if this Package Component should appear on the account as an individual transaction and if it should post to the Extras Account.

    Select if this Package Component should display on the To Do Chart and/or Housekeepers Report.

    Select the Amount to Charge.


    Per Period Fee: The Quantity & Unit Price entered will be posted to the account for each period within the reservation (eg. Day/Night/Hour).
    Per Person Fee: The amount entered for each Guest Type will be posted to the account once per reservation for the total number of guests. (eg. 2 Adults).

    Select 'Save/Next' to complete creating this Package Component and continue with setup.

    Repeat until all Package Components are added.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to return to the Package setup screen.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to complete creating the package.
