      Hold Back Areas from RMS Online

      Setup a hold back on Areas from a Category in RMS.

      Steps Required

      Have your System Administrator complete the following.
      1. Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.
      2. Select 'Edit' on an existing Category.
      3. Navigate to the 'Online Options' tab.
      4. Enter the Hold Back Areas.
      5. Save/Exit.

      Holding Back an Area for a Category from RMS Online can create a buffer for scenarios that would otherwise result in a Quote Reservation from RMS Online.

      Availability will be delivered online less the number of Areas entered as the Hold Back Areas.

      If there are 10 Areas in a Category available and the Hold Back Areas is set to '2' the online availability will show as '8'.

      Visual Guide

      Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.

      Select 'Edit' on an existing Category.

      Navigate to the 'Online Options' tab.

      Enter the Hold Back Areas.

      Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made.
