    Add a Google Map Link to an Area

    Inserting a Google Map Link on an Area for easy directions to Guests in RMS.


    Steps Required

    Have your System Administrator complete the following.

    1. Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.
    2. Select a Category and choose 'Edit'.
    3. Navigate to the 'Area' tab.
    4. Select an Area and choose 'Edit'.
    5. Insert a Google Map Link copied from Google Maps.
    6. Save/Exit.

    Adding a Google Map Link to an Area allows for using the Google Map Link merge field in Form Letters to provide accurate directions and Area location to guests for their stay using Google Maps.

    Visual Guide

    Go to Setup > Category/Area in RMS.

    Select a Category and choose 'Edit'.

    Navigate to the 'Area' tab.

    Select an Area and choose 'Edit'.

    Insert a Google Map Link copied from Google Maps.

    Select 'Save/Exit' to store the changes made against the Area.
